This patch is looking healthy and happy. They naturally prefer shaded spots, so this is a perfect location with only an hour or so of direct sunlight
They grow slowly, but will spread quickly if the conditions are ideal. They are a great ground-cover plant that provide shelter for hiding creatures with their large, tough, sawtooth leaves
Their flowers are very tough and long-lasting, like the rest of the plant, and will be full of seeds by early summer
